Ortelius Advisors, L.P., founded in 2015 by Peter DeSorcy and H.R.H. Prince Pavlos, is an activist hedge fund focused on U.S. securities. Earlier, he co-founded Ivory Capital Group and Ivory Fund Advisors in 1998, focused on value-oriented equities. He previously led portfolio management at Griphon Asset Management and worked at Ivy Asset Management and Aetna. DeSorcy holds a CFA charter and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

H.R.H. Prince Pavlos

H.R.H. Prince Pavlos is a co-founder of Ortelius Advisors (2015), Ortelius Ventures (2012), and Ortelius Capital Partners (2002). He also co-founded Brigantine Capital Partners (2003) and earlier, Ivory Capital Group and Ivory Fund Advisors (1998), focusing on value-oriented equities. From 1998 to 2002, he was a Managing Member of Ivory, overseeing marketing and operations. Previously, he was Principal and Director of Marketing at Griphon Asset Management and held roles at ship brokerage firm Charles R. Weber. A former British Army Lieutenant, he holds B.A. and Master’s degrees in Foreign Relations and Economics from Georgetown University.

Alexander Lu

Alexander Lu is a Managing Member and Director of Research at Ortelius Advisors and Ortelius Ventures, overseeing all investment research activities. He joined Ortelius in 2007 after working in Merrill Lynch’s investment banking division on M&A and leveraged finance transactions. Lu graduated magna cum laude from NYU’s Stern School of Business with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting.

Tiffany Chiu

Tiffany Chiu is a Managing Member and Senior Analyst at Ortelius Advisors, responsible for investment research. She joined Ortelius full-time in 2008 after earning a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
