Andrew Weiss

CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Weiss Asset Management. Andrew received his Ph.D. in Economics from Stanford University, was elected a fellow of the Econometric Society in 1989 and is currently Professor Emeritus of Economics at Boston University. Andrew began his career as Assistant Professor at Columbia University and as a Research Economist in the Mathematics Center at Bell Laboratories, concurrently. Andrew is a member of the Advisory Board of the University of California Center for Effective Global Action, the Advisory Board for the Center of Development Economics at Williams College and the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also on the Advisory Board for the University of Global Health Equity in Kigali and is a senior fellow at the Niskanen Center.
