Vector Capital spun out of Ziff Brothers Investments, a family investment firm, in 1997. Alex Slusky
Alex is the Founder, Managing Director, and Chief Investment Officer of Vector Capital and serves on its Investment Committee alongside Amish Mehta and Rob Amen. He is a board member of Marigold, Cambium Networks, Planful, Rocket Lab, and WatchGuard Technologies, with past board roles at companies like Technicolor, Corel, SafeNet, and RAE Systems. Alex also serves as CEO and Chairman of Vector Acquisition Corporation II and sits on the investment committee of the Vector Credit Opportunity Fund. Before founding Vector, Alex led the technology equity practice at Ziff Brothers Investments and held roles at New Enterprise Associates, McKinsey & Company, and Microsoft. He holds a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Harvard University and an MBA with high distinction (Baker Scholar) from Harvard Business School.
