Bruce Schanzer is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Erez Asset Management, an investment firm focused on undervalued small-cap REITs that he founded in 2022. Before founding Erez, he served as President, CEO and director of Cedar Realty Trust from 2011 to 2022. Earlier, he was a Managing Director in real estate investment banking at Goldman Sachs and a Vice President at Merrill Lynch, following a career as a real estate attorney in New York. Schanzer holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a BA from Yeshiva College.
