Scott Ross is the Founder and Managing Partner of Hill Path Capital. Before founding Hill Path, he was a Partner at Apollo Management, where he led private equity and debt investments in sectors such as lodging, leisure, entertainment, consumer, and business services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Ross worked in the Principal Investment Area and Principal Finance Group at Goldman Sachs and also spent time at Shumway Capital Partners. He currently serves as Chairman of SeaWorld Entertainment and has held board positions at companies including Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp., Great Wolf Resorts, EVERTEC, and CEC Entertainment (parent of Chuck E. Cheese’s and Peter Piper Pizza). He holds a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
