Lewis Gold

Dr. Lewis Gold, MD is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS), a behavioral health company focused on treating substance use, eating disorders, and mental health conditions. He previously co-founded Sheridan Healthcare in 1994, where he served as Executive Vice Chairman and played a key role in its IPO and four private equity transactions. Under his leadership, Sheridan expanded into a national provider across 23 states. After retiring from Sheridan in 2012, Dr. Gold co-founded EG Advisors and partnered with Goldman Sachs in launching ARS. He also serves as an Operating Partner at J.W. Childs. Dr. Gold holds a medical degree from Temple University and is board-certified in anesthesiology.
