Founded in 2015 by Peter DeSorcy and H.R.H. Prince Pavlos, Ortelius Advisors is an activist hedge fund focused on U.S. equities. Peter DeSorcy

Peter DeSorcy is the co-founder and CIO of Ortelius Advisors, launched in 2015. He previously co-founded Ortelius Ventures (2012), Ortelius Capital Partners (2002), and Brigantine Capital Partners (2003), a long/short and special situations hedge fund. Earlier, he co-founded Ivory Capital Group and Griphon Asset Management. His career began at Ivy Asset Management and Aetna Life & Casualty. DeSorcy holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a CFA charterholder.

H.R.H. Prince Pavlos

Prince Pavlos co-founded Ortelius Advisors in 2015, along with its affiliates Ortelius Ventures (2012), Ortelius Capital Partners (2002), and Brigantine Capital Partners (2003), a long/short and special situations hedge fund. Earlier, he co-founded Ivory Capital Group and Griphon Asset Management, focusing on value-oriented investments and marketing. He began his career at Charles R. Weber Company in operations and marketing and previously served as a Lieutenant in the British Army. Prince Pavlos holds B.A. and Master’s degrees in Foreign Relations and Economics from Georgetown University.
